the TraNsfeRRing stuff

Many camera generated phones are used in capturing memorable events.( as if I had one) The problem that most of the time occurs is on how we will transfer those stuffs in the PC (personal computer!!!duh!hehe). Here's a piece of tips on how you'll going to move those files to the PC:(for the benefit of Sarsi, my former classmate in HS.hehe)

1.E-mail

Most camera phones have the ability to send photos in the form of an email. Of course, this is the way wireless providers would like you to do it since they get to charge additional fees for sending the picture mail. Normally, wireless providers charge a flat rate to send a picture as an email through their network, but you could also be billed on a per-kilobyte rate for the data used. To e-mail photos to yourself, you'll need to make sure your phone is configured to send e-mails. Most phones purchased from the carrier are setup out of the box, but you'll need to determine that on a per-case basis. The process for selecting an image to send will vary on the individual phone model, so refer to the instructions in your telephone manual for instructions. When you're ready to send the picture, place your e-mail address in the "To:" field, and hit send.

2.Bluetooth
If your phone is equipped with short-range Bluetooth wireless technology, you can often send images to a similarly equipped notebook or desktop computer. The best part about Bluetooth is that images transferred in this manner are completely free to you. Whether you send 1 picture or 50, it's still free. Not all phones are equipped with Bluetooth, but even less computers come with the technology built-in. However, you can add the technology to your computer by purchasing a USB Bluetooth module from a local electronics retailer. Don't worry about it being expensive, considering most modules retail for about $25( that is 1, 123 Philippine Peso based on the August 15, 2008 exchange rate) .Sending photos to a computer using Bluetooth is fairly simple... once you pair the phone to your computer. Sometimes the pairing process goes smoothly, and sometimes it doesn't. Either way, once you've gotten the two talking to each other, sending images to and from the phone is a snap. On top of this, Bluetooth allows you to send images and files to other Bluetooth phones without wires or charges. Not all Bluetooth phones will be able to send images to a computer. Some carriers disable the file transfer profile before the phone is sent to the stores for sale, thereby forcing the users to either buy a data kit or send e-mails. This is what's referred to as the "no free lunch" approach to customer service. It's reasonable for them to assume that most would not spend fifty-dollars on an accessory, so they'll get to charge your account for every picture you send or make a monthly fee on a picture package.

3.Data Cable
Any phone that has a built-in camera will most likely be able to connect to a computer via a USB data connection kit. Data kits are phone specific, so you'll need to make sure you get the correct one for your model phone. The kit includes the cable that plugs your phone into your computer's USB jack, as well as software to assist in transferring files to and from the phone. Once connected, you'll have the same file transfer abilities as you would with Bluetooth, except with a wire. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer images to anything but a computer, so don't expect to move a picture from your phone to a friend's. Though data connect kits are often more expensive than Bluetooth modules, they do transfer files at a faster speed.

4.Removable Memory Cards
Many newer phones have a slot for an external memory cards, especially models with higher resolution cameras. Since the images are stored on a removable memory card, transferring images to the computer is a breeze. All you need to do is pick up an external memory card reader from a local electronics store. You'll need to know what kind of card your phone uses before you go shopping to make sure the reader you buy supports the correct format. Once your card reader is in place, merely remove the memory card from your phone, and insert it into the card reader. The computer will recognize the card and assign it a drive letter. Actually moving images is as easy as using the "cut and paste" commands in Windows Explorer. Just reinsert the card back into the phone when you're ready to take new pictures.

YANG wins gold! And he deserves a standing ovation for this pic!",)

"I don't have time to be interviewd later so ask for questions now." This was the answer of Yang when we had our ambush interview with him in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. I was a bit shy that time because of the expression showed by Yang(as if he's having his monthly period-if he has.hehe). I did not get the whole story about Yang's victory so I just asked for my friend Nick Friedell to send me his latest article about Yang.(I was just imagining how it feels like covering a game in the prestigious 2008 Olympics.hehe)

(BEIJING, August 14) -- China's Yang Wei proved that he is the world's best all-round gymnast today by winning the gold medal in the Men's All-Around.
Yang entered the final rotation with a comfortable lead over the rest of the field. The lead was a tremendous advantage for Yang, who knew he did not need to excel on his weakest apparatus, the Horizontal Bar.
Yang performed well in the Rings, the Vault and the Parallel Bars. His 16.625 in the Rings was only bettered by his compatriot Chen Yibing, who pulled out of his last rotation and finished last.
Yang finished with a total of 94.575 points, which was a long way ahead of silver medalist Uchimura Kohei of Japan who scored a total of 91.975. Uchimura will rue his mistake-ridden performance in the Pommel Horse, where he finished with 13.275 - the worst score of any competitor.
The bronze medal was won by French dark horse Benoit Caranobe, who scored a total of 91.925 points. Caranobe was the ninth-highest-ranking gymnast in the qualification phase, but an outstanding performance in the Vault secured the bronze medal. Caranobe was the top-ranking gymnast on the apparatus, scoring 16.600.
Germany's Fabian Hambuechen, who was seen as the only real rival to Yang, performed poorly today. Hambuechen was clearly upset after a bad performance in the Vault. He finished seventh with a total of 91.675.
Japan's Tomita Hiroyuki would have been a chance to win a medal if he had not fallen from the Rings. Due to the fall, Tomita could only manage a score of 13.850 on the apparatus. He was the best-performed gymnast in the Horizontal Bar and finished with a total score of 91.750.

I just can't help it.

Some text messages that my friends made me feel good, touched and happy:

  • The best friendship does not come when you are together. It comes when you are busy and realize that despite busy times, FRIENDS never stop caring.- Mardee
  • GuDmOrning pO...-987(I have a special feeling to 987. hehe. I did not text 987 for two months and this is the first message 987 sent after millions of years! Message sent: August 09, 2008 @ 5:45AM)
  • You can not leave footprints if you walk tiptoe. This is what living life means. You can never get what you want if you are scared to get hurt.-Jem
  • The memory of a friend is like a favorite song. No matter how many times it plays, you never get tired of it. Stay as you are as a song I love to hear.-Bez_Jham

  • Time may be so fast that we can not guess how long this friendship would stay, but even if time keeps us apart, even when chances push me out and away, remember- I will never stop to care because despite absence, between gaps and distances, the promise of you and me being friends, remains… lasts… and persists. It may not be under arms of togetherness and bonding, beyond spaces, beyond hindrances, friends till the end. This is my commitment.-Natalie

Regional Pre-Service Students Forum Held

“There are many challenges that are scattered in the path of being a teacher- ready to test, discourage, dismantle and ruin our will of being a teacher. But in so far as our eagerness to be one is concerned, we should not let those ICT, economic crisis and change in student’s attitude make a wall of disparity between us and our will of being a teacher. We should put in to our mind and heart to this profession because we are going to mold, guide and transform the youth into the state of being successful, worthy and good citizens of the country. I f we have still doubt on what we are going in to, better quit right at this moment for you will reckon the future of each student you will be teaching. In short, TEACHERS should be TEACHERS.”

This was my response(reaction statement) on the Regional Pre-Service Student Forum for Education Students with the Theme: Model Mentors: Catalysts of Development. I aired this in front of 47 school delegates around the bicol region at tha AQ Dome Aquinas University of Legazpi today(August 6, 2008) as I represent Secondary and Elementary Education Students of our school.

Why did I make a blog.

I am not familiar to "blogger" before. I don't even mind if there is existing.",) I am just fond of browsing the internet and visiting my friendster account. Until one day, when I was about to type http://www.f/.. then I accidentally tipped "b" instead of "f" so similar websites came out of the address bar. I have seen http://www.onitslastleg.blogspot.com/. I clicked on it and was amazed by the content. It is some kind of a journal. "Oh, This is Kuya Adrian's blog." I said. So, as filipino characters implies... I try to make one not thinking that I'll be enjoying my stay here in blogger.

I started thinking of a web name that I'll be using..hmm? After several seconds of inferrential thingking, I come to a generalization... a very hard decision to be made in my whole life.(hehe) So, I put my screen name in my e-mail. It is so difficult to think you know. And more difficult to put sponjmark before blogspot.com. Afterwards, http://www.sponjmark.blogspot.com/
was finally created.

I had posted many mindful writings and what so ever since then. I enjoyed my first three posts and the next are just "forcible" posts and or out of the blue posts. Just like now, readers. I think, are just wasting their time reading this post.(hehe, I just assume that someone reads my blog but actually thare's nothing. See for yourself the evidence:

FACTS: A visitor is represented by a green star. There is no GREEN STAR. Therefore, there is no visitor.(What a shame!hehe)

I don't know if someone would like to consume at least five minutes viewing my blog.(I am actually begging you to stay at least minutes more.hehe)

To add up excitement to my blog, I changed my banner. Look up there. (I asked a favor from Kuya Adi to make that one. Nice, isn't it?hehe)

But again, I enjoy visiting this site over and over and over again because of a very special purpose. I am able to express the REAL me here.( Just like this one.hehe)

She's the only woman whom I fell in love.

She makes me smile even in thoughest time of my life.
She is the reason why I study hard and try to earn awards.
She's the reason why I am alive.
She is the reason why I became this person who is strong enough to face diff'rent challenges in life.
She's the only person who advises and comforts me after getting angry.
She's the only girl whom I treated like a princess.
She's the only girl who I always think of every first sunday of May.
She is the reason why I try to be smile during aches.
She took large boundaries in my heart.
I can't live without her.
Now, I don't know how to continue my life without her.
How just I wish the lord would grant me to see you for the last time!
I love you...
I cherish you...
I missed you...
